Celebrity Moms & Babies. As we all know, there is a huge fascination with celebrity moms and babies and the craziness around celebrity families seems to be bigger than ever. For whatever the reason, Suri, Shilo, Kingston and friends appear on magazine covers more often than the real actresses and actors in Hollywood. I must admit, they are pretty darn cute!

Gwyneth Paltrow’s GOOP

I have to admit I have been a huge GOOP fan from the beginning. Gwyneth and her girlfriends (I can assume she must have some help with it) share cool ideas on all sorts of topics: yummy food, fabulous hotels, her favorite styles, healthy living tips and so much more. Her email newsletter is always a real treat.

How to Live Like a Celebrity Mom

Here are some quick tips so that you too can start living like a celebrity mom.

#1 – Make sure your kids are dressed in the cutest clothes you can find – adorable sneakers, colorful sandals, you name it

#2 – Get skinny really fast – start working out as soon as your doctor says it is okay to do so.  Celebrity moms actually have to work at it too.

#3 – Hire a personal chef or get your meals delivered.

#4 – Make sure your baby only eats organic baby food.

#5 – Get yourself a top of the line stroller to push around your little prince or princess.

#6 – Hire a great nanny (note: I don’t like it when the press tries to make it like it is a bad thing that a celebrity has a nanny to help her with her children – these women have to go to work and they don’t have 9-5 jobs where they can easily drop of a child at day care – nannies can be wonderful!)

#7 – Splurge on a decorator and create a fabulous nursery full of designer furniture and bedding.

#8 – It’s all about green living.  Hire an eco-consultant, use eco-friendly diapers, make sure your housekeeper is using green cleaning products and eat organic vegetables.

#9 – Make sure to give back and help other moms and children in your community.  Many celebrity moms donate their baby gifts and gear, and donate their time, name and money to raise awareness about children’s health issues, homeless mothers, education and other great causes.

#10 – Never leave your house without great sunglasses, a fabulous pair of shoes and super stylish handbag.

Celebrity Baby Names

I guess my son will never be mistaken for a celebrity’s child because his name is Carl Alexander.  He has his great grandfather’s name – it is strong and traditional and I love it. I must admit that I do like some of the more modern and funky names, but we have to remember that our little babies are going to grow up one day. Some names are great for infants but for 50 year old men – I’m not so sure…. If you want more scoop on celebrity baby names here are some fun resources.
