Louis Vuitton Neverfull
I just got tired of carrying around a diaper bag and a purse so I recently purchased the large size Louis Vuitton Neverfull bag. I love it! I dumped everything from my purse into it, then I added a sweater for my son, a few diapers, a bag of goldfish, a package of string cheese, a couple of magazines, a baseball hat, a can of diet coke, a dump truck and somehow there is still room for Curious George. The bag is also great because it doesn’t get dirty like so many other bags do. My husband doesn’t mind lugging it around either because it is big and brown. Splurge on one for yourself – you deserve it!.
BOB Revolution Stroller
I think of our BOB as my son’s Escalade – a very smooth ride – super easy to handle – a great stroller for long walks and for trips to the mall or the farmers’ market because there is plenty of room for shopping bags. My piece of advice would be to keep the infant car seat bar installed – my son loves to hold it and pull up when he is looking around. It makes it harder for him to fall out too.
Maclaren Volo Stroller
So incredibly light and smooth, the Volo is a fantastic stroller for traveling and quick trips. The best feature is that you can steer it one handed.
Recaro Car Seats
These people make top of the line seats for race cars – they know what they are doing! The seats look good too.
Medela Pump in Style Breast Pump
Whatever you do – don’t cheap out on a breast pump. If you are going back to work, buy one for the office and one for home. Pumping is not fun and the last thing you want to worry about is lugging the whole apparatus back and forth between your office and home.
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser
My son has sensitive skin, in addition to his allergies. The best advice his allergist gave us was to keep it simple – the fewer ingredients the better. I have been tempted to try a little Crème de la Mer on my son, but for now, I’ll hoard that for myself and will keep him clean and hydrated with Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser and moisturizing cream.
I’ve got a tube of ChapStick in each and every bag I’ve got. I’ve also stashed them in drawers, in the bathroom and on my desk so I always have one handy. My son likes to apply a little himself which is very cute to watch.
Tuffo Outdoor Blanket
These blankets are terrific. We used to meet friends at the park and our bottoms would get soaked. These water resistant blankets are perfect and come in a bunch of cute patterns too. Keep one in your trunk so you always have it handy.
Flip UltraHD Camcorder
I didn’t want to spend the big bucks on a video camera when I wasn’t sure how much I would actually use it. The Flip Mino is perfect – super handy, light and it couldn’t be any easier to use.
