Congratulations on your Pregnancy! Not to be a total downer….but I did not enjoy being pregnant. I wouldn’t say I hated it (except for those last few weeks) but I certainly didn’t love it. It took me a long time to actually get pregnant so by the time I actually was ‘with child’ I was ready for it to be over. Just give me my baby!

In the last few years, maternity clothes continue to get cuter and cuter. I tried to get away with wearing non-maternity clothes for as long as possible (except for those wonderful elastic waist bands!) and was actually pretty successful. I know it sounds crazy, but Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters were my go to destinations for tops. They has so many cute long t-shirts and empire waist tops that were not too expensive so I totally stocked up. I still wear them today. Believe me, you will feel much better if you are not wearing sweat pants and your husband’s old t-shirts every day.
