Wedding Invitations Wording

When it comes time to come up with the wording for your wedding invitation it is best to start with the basics and go from there. A typical wedding invitation includes the following information: 1) the hosts 2) the request line 3) the names of the bride and groom 4) date 5) time 6) location 7) reception information 8)R.S.V.P. information. It sounds so easy but step 1 – just naming the hosts can be tricky for many couples.

I thought that Minted had some great tips on invitation wording and some great samples too.

I also found that just reading the text on the sample invitations and jotting down little phrases or words that you like it really helpful.
