Tips & Suggestions When You Donate Your New or Gently Used Baby Items, Baby Clothes & Baby Gear
You have a some new or gently used baby gear at home and you are ready to donate it to a family in need. Fantastic! Here are a few suggestions and tips to consider before you drop off your baby gear at a donation location.
1) Please wash your items to ensure they are clean. That is easy to do with clothes, but you can also wipe down toys and equipment too.
2) In support of the safety of the children who receive your items, please be sure that the items you donate are in perfect working order. Do not donate damaged or broken items.
3) Do not donate items that have been recalled. You can consult the Consumer Product Safety Commission at http://www.cpsc.gov to see if your item is listed.
4) If your items contain instruction manuals, include them.
