Business Travel Tips for Women
Traveling for work can be a grueling sludge through airports, meetings and hotels, or it can be a chance for you to escape for a much needed mini vacation.
Tip #1 – If you know you have a long flight or that you will have a free night, be sure to order some videos from Netflix. Business trips are a great way to catch up on movies and TV shows you don’t get to watch at home with the kids around. Go ahead and bring along a season or two of The Hills. Nobody will know you are watching but you!
Tip #2 – Like most moms, you barely have time to brush your teeth before you go to bed at home. Use your business trip as an excuse to order room service. Be sure to pack up a facemask and bubble bath so you can enjoy a little pampering and mommy alone time too.
Tip #3 - Homeless shelters are always looking for toiletries to distribute. Pick up all the little shampoos, lotions and toothpaste tubes you can while you travel. Once you have a bag full you can drop it off at a local shelter. Some organizations also collect these items to send to the troops overseas.
